All tickets for the Forbidden City are sold online. You can search for "Palace Museum" on WeChat, please look for the official website.
Peak season (April 1-October 31): 60 yuan/person
Off-season (November 1-March 31 of the following year): 40 yuan/person
Treasure Hall (Ningshou Palace District, including Xiqu Hall and Shigu Hall): 10 yuan/person
Clock Hall (Fengxian Hall District): 10 yuan/person
Preferential measures:
(1) Chinese citizens under the age of 18 (including residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and foreigners who have obtained permanent residency) can visit for free, but reservations are required. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult for admission, and one adult can bring up to three minors under the age of 14.
(2) Students over 18 years old, bachelor's degree or below (excluding adult education), can purchase student tickets, which are 20 yuan/person in the off-peak season. Valid identification such as student ID card and school introduction letter must be presented when checking tickets.
