Dehe Garden of the Summer Palace
Located on the north side of the Renshou Hall, it was built in the seventeenth year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1891) and was built in five years, and was a place for Empress Dowager Cixi to watch plays. Its main buildings are the Grand Theater, the Hall of Music and the Hall of Celebration. The three-story stage in the park is the largest and best-preserved wooden ancient opera stage in China, with exquisite architectural design, magnificent momentum, and great scientific and artistic value; Famous Peking Opera performance artists Yang Xiaolou and Tan Xinpei in the Qing Dynasty have performed for Empress Dowager Cixi here, known as the "cradle of Peking Opera"; Empress Dowager Cixi also rewarded some princes and ministers to watch plays here.

Visitors can intuitively feel the scene of Cixi watching the play in the garden, and witness a large number of precious daily necessities of the emperor and empress and gifts from foreign countries to the Qing Dynasty.
