Yongshou Zhai of the Summer Palace

Built during the Guangxu period, adjacent to the palace of Empress Dowager Cixi, Leshou Hall was the residence of Li Lianying, the chief eunuch in the late Qing Dynasty, commonly known as the "General Management Courtyard". Li was a confidant eunuch of Empress Dowager Cixi, and his residence was very luxurious.
