The eastern embankment is made of Kunlun stone

Established during the Qianlong period. The imperial poem engraved on the stele is the imperial poem of the Qianlong Emperor, describing the historical changes of the east embankment of Kunming Lake. The current East Dike of Kunming Lake was once the guard embankment outside the west wall of Changchun Garden, one of the "Three Mountains and Five Gardens" in the western suburbs of Beijing, called the West Dike, so there is a sentence in the poem "The West Dike is the East Dike on this day, and the name is not certain".
