Listen to the orchid pavilion of the Summer Palace

Originally built by Qianlong for his mother to watch a play, there is a two-story stage inside, because the ancients often used the call of orioles to metaphorically describe the beauty and beauty of music, so it was called "Listening to the Oriole Pavilion". It was burned down by the British and French forces in 1860 and rebuilt during the Guangxu period. Before the completion of the Deheyuan Grand Theater, Cixi often watched plays and feasted here. Now Tinglu Pavilion has become a restaurant specializing in court cuisine, which has received hundreds of heads of state and government, and has become a famous court cuisine restaurant in China.
