East Palace Gate of the Summer Palace

Sitting west and facing east, it is the main entrance for the emperors and queens of the Qing Dynasty to enter and exit the Summer Palace. On the eaves of the palace gate, there is also a golden plaque of the ninth emperor of the Qing Dynasty, Guangxu, calligraphy "Summer Palace".
